Who I Am Today: Letting Go, Living Bold, and Trusting Jesus

If you had told me years ago that I’d one day be writing a blog like this, faith-filled, purpose-driven, completely surrendered. I probably would’ve laughed or shrugged it off. But here I am, and I want to start this journey by sharing who I am today.
Today, I’m a man who’s driven to serve others. I live to make an impact on this world, not for my own name, but for the name of Jesus. I’m not perfect. I’ve messed up more times than I can count. But I’m not the same man I used to be, and I’ll never go back.
The turning point came when I faced cancer, twice. That battle stripped me of any illusion that I was in control. It forced me to let go, trust God fully, and surrender to whatever He had for me. I realized I could only control a few things: my attitude, my focus, my faith. The rest? That’s in His hands. And that’s where peace began.
These days, I pray often. I don’t just read the Bible, I study it, because I want to know what God actually says, not just what the world thinks He says. I still stumble, I still fall short, but my foundation is firm. Jesus is my anchor, my lighthouse, and my compass. He’s my everything.
That’s why I’m writing this blog. Not to show off a perfect life, but to encourage you in the middle of your journey. I want to share kindness, truth, joy, and the love of Jesus. If you’re looking for hope, if you’re hungry for something real, if you want to know what it means to live with purpose, this is for you.
We’ll walk this out together.
Thanks for being here.
